By accessing or using AssetCal ("Service", "we", "our", or "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, you may not access or use the Service.

These Terms constitute a legally binding agreement between you and the operators of AssetCal. We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Your continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

2. Beta Service Status

2.1 No Business Entity

AssetCal is not currently registered as a business entity. We are individuals testing a market concept. We make no representations or warranties about future business registration or service continuity.

2.2 Free Service

The Service is currently provided free of charge. We do not collect payment information. Any pricing displayed on the Service is for illustrative purposes only and does not constitute an offer for paid services.

2.3 No Guarantees

As a beta service, we make no guarantees about availability, reliability, data persistence, or continued operation. The Service may be modified, suspended, or discontinued at any time without notice.

3. Use of the Service

3.1 Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to use this Service. By using the Service, you represent and warrant that you meet this age requirement.

AssetCal is a platform that facilitates connections between asset owners and guests. We are NOT a party to any booking, rental, or transaction. We do not own, create, sell, resell, provide, control, manage, offer, deliver, or supply any assets listed on the Service.

4.2 No Responsibility for Bookings

We are NOT responsible for:

• The accuracy of asset listings or availability
• The quality, safety, or legality of assets listed
• The truth or accuracy of asset descriptions
• The ability of asset owners to provide services
• The ability of guests to pay for or complete bookings
• Disputes between users
• Cancellations, no-shows, or refunds
• Damage, injury, or loss arising from bookings
• Any acts or omissions of users

4.3 User Responsibility

All bookings are entirely between the asset owner and the guest. Users are responsible for:

• Verifying information before booking or accepting bookings
• Communicating terms, conditions, and expectations
• Complying with all applicable laws and regulations
• Obtaining necessary permits, licenses, or insurance
• Resolving disputes amongst themselves
• Handling all payments and financial transactions

5. User Content

5.1 Your Content

You retain ownership of content you post on the Service ("User Content"). By posting User Content, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, and display your content for the purpose of operating and improving the Service.

5.2 Content Standards

You represent and warrant that your User Content:

• Is accurate and not misleading
• Does not infringe on any third party rights
• Does not violate any laws or regulations
• Does not contain malicious code or harmful content
• Is not defamatory, obscene, or offensive

5.3 Content Moderation

We reserve the right (but have no obligation) to remove or modify any User Content that violates these Terms or that we deem inappropriate for any reason.

The Service may contain links to third-party websites or services. We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of third parties. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to their terms and policies.

11. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time, for any reason, without notice or liability. You may terminate your account at any time by contacting us.

Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease. We may delete your account and data without liability.

12. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Service shall be resolved through good faith negotiations. If negotiations fail, you agree to submit to the jurisdiction of the courts located in the United States.

These Terms, along with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and AssetCal regarding the Service.

13.2 Severability

Our failure to enforce any right or provision of these Terms will not be deemed a waiver of such right or provision.

13.4 Assignment

You may not assign or transfer these Terms without our prior written consent. We may assign these Terms at any time without restriction.

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the new Terms on the Service and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of the Service after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
